Australian Projects

Piran Mining is proud to work with its Australian clients recognising the level and quality of mining undertaken in this great land.  It is the place of our inception and yet knowing this industry is relatively small it is not difficult to meet someone we know regardless of where we travel.  We are also proud to be able to take the learnings from the Australian mining industry to the world.

Mining Concept Study

Au Project, Western Australia

Piran Mining was engaged to undertake an underground mining scoping study below the existing open pit of a deposit located in Western Australia. Mining Concept Study

IMG_5990.JPG

Au Project, Western Australia

Piran Mining was engaged to undertake a conceptual underground mine design and schedule for a deposit, approximately 100km south of Laverton in Western Australia. The client intended to extend an existing open pit that was mined until 2004. The study reviewed the potential for an underground operation below the planned pit extension. The mine design focused on the higher grade zones of the deposit which were previously indentified by earlier work undertaken by Piran Mining. A final draft report and detailed mine design was created in Mine 2-4D software as part of this study.
